Tenders are invited for Purchase and transport of 600 goats and 200 goats to the project intervention sites
The "MAMAN LUMIERE III" project is proposed to contribute to the strengthening of livestock capital for very vulnerable women in vulnerable women%s groups who are members of MMD/AVEC groups, in order to improve nutrition and increase the income of women in the area of project involvement.
To improve the effectiveness and sustainability of project actions, emphasis is placed on strengthening livestock capital for very vulnerable women in women%s groups. Livestock farming is of capital and strategic importance for communities and is a real lever in the fight against chronic vulnerability, but also food insecurity, particularly malnutrition in rural areas. The distribution of the "goats" kit, consisting of 3 goats and 1 goat per beneficiary, will take place in the form of "Habbanayé" rotation between the beneficiaries of MMD women%s groups. The number of the "goats" kit is a national proposal from livestock technicians to better support the resilience of the most vulnerable while ensuring sufficient, healthy and balanced food for their own needs and those of their children.
